Informal Scientific Presentation_Ultrasound, the Best

Informal Scientific Presentation_Ultrasound, the Best” is one of the scientific programs of KSUM 2026, designed to present and share the excellence of ultrasound in medicine through case reports or case series (maximum five cases). Authors of accepted submissions will be given the opportunity for short onsite presentations to share their clinical experiences. All presentations will be reviewed, and the best presenters will receive the Ultrasound, the Best Award (KRW 100,000).

Benefits for Presenters

UltraSound, the Best Award

Awarded to the top 3 Informal Scientific Presentation presenters based on the scores graded by the Scientific Committee. All candidates of the award will be notified and they will be requested to submit the presentation file in advance for the evaluation.

International Grant Award

Awarded to all presenters of the abstracts accepted for presentation at the Scientific Session (Oral), Scientific Exhibition (E-Poster) and Informal Scientific Presentation_Ultrasound, the Best. The award is given only once to the presenting author regardless of the number of accepted abstracts or co-authors

How to Prepare for a Presentation

Once the submitted abstract has been accepted for Informal Scientific Presentation_Ultrasound, the Best, presenters are required to submit the presentation file in PPT format including texts, images, video files, etc. Please follow the sample presentation format below when preparing a presentation.

How to Submit Abstracts for Informal Scientific Presentation_Ultarsound, the Best

1. STEP 1

   Please sign up and log on to KSUM 2026 website.

2. STEP 2

   Go to the ‘Informal Scientific Presentation_Ultrasound, the Best’ Page.

3. STEP 3

   Read through the submission guidelines and Click the ‘Go to Online Submission Page’ button.

4. STEP 4

   Input Informal requested and submit your abstract step by step.
   
   Choose the presenting type “Case Report[Poster or Short Oral Presentation (Ultrasound, the Best)]” and Click the “Informal Scientific Presentation” button below if you wish to submit Informal Scientific Presentation abstracts.

5. STEP 5

   Your abstract submission is completed.
   
   “Informal Scientific Presentation_Ultrasound, the Best (Short Oral Presentation)” Guidelines will be sent to both the submitter and the presenter via e-mail.

• All abstracts must be submitted through the Congress website. (Abstracts submitted by any other means will not be accepted.)
• Abstracts must be written in English, and the submitter is responsible for checking for any typing errors.
• Abstracts should not exceed 300 words in length.
• Tables and figures are not permitted.
• There is no limit to the number of abstracts that may be submitted.
• An acknowledgment of submission will be automatically sent by e-mail to both the submitter and the presenting author upon completion of the online submission.
• Submitters may review or modify their submitted abstracts until 24:00, February 23 (Mon), 2026 (Korea Standard Time), by visiting “My Page” on the Congress website.
• Notification of acceptance will be sent by e-mail to the presenting authors on March 25 (Wed), 2026.
• Presenting authors of accepted abstracts are required to complete their registration for KSUM 2026 no later than April 22 (Wed), 2025.
